IDGS, Rabu, 14 Desember 2022 – Perusahaan developer dan publisher video game asal Amerika Serikat, Riot Games telah meraih dua penghargaan sekaligus dalam acara Esports Awards 2022 sebagai “Esports Broadcast/Production Team of The Year” dan “Esports Publisher of The Year”. Esports Awards 2022 yang telah berlangsung di Resorts World di Las Vegas.
Dalam kategori Esports Broadcast/Production Team of The Year Riot Games berhasil mengalahkan kandidat kuat lainnya seperti Garena, ESL, PGL, Beyond the Summit, Premier, Faceit, LVP dan Esports Engine.
Sedangkan, untuk kategori Esports Publisher of The Year Riot Games mengalahkan publisher ternama seperti nama Valve, Garena, Ubisoft, Tencent, Krafton, Epic Games, Pysonix dan EA ( Electronic Arts ).

Penghargaan yang mereka raih, tidak terlepas dari kesuksesan dalam menjalankan acara esports ( kompetisi ) dari awal tahun hingga tur internasional akhir tahun mulai dari diselenggarakan dan disaksikan melalui online dan LAN seperti League of Legends ( WORLDS 2022 ), Valorant ( Valorant Champions Tour 2022 ) dan League of Legends : Wild Rift ( ICONS ).
